Currently Inactive Surveys

NSSE: The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is administered to a sample of second semester freshman and exiting seniors. EKU participates every three (3) years. The NSSE was designed to assess the extent to which students are engaged in empirically-derived, good educational practices and what they gain from their college experiences. In this it differs from many other surveys that are more oriented to student satisfaction than to specific educational outcomes.

First Destination Survey: The First Destination Survey was previously administered annually to recent graduates to identify plans following graduation and used as a means to measure the success of EKU students. This survey is now a part of the EKU Alumni Survey to streamline data collection and reduce survey fatigue of our alumni.

Climate Survey: The EKU Campus Climate Survey was typically administered once a strategic planning cycle (every five years; previously every three years) to faculty, staff, and students.  Results for both faculty/staff and students are below.

HERI Faculty Survey 2011:  The HERI Faculty Survey is a survey conducted every three years by the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) at UCLA and is designed to provide colleges and universities with information about the workload, teaching practices, job satisfaction and professional activities of the collegiate faculty and administrators. EKU has not partcipated in recent years.
